Interesting things that sold at the Barrett Jackson auction

The Dean Moon designed "Bonneville Boss" transporter, and mocked up 1976 land speed record rocket vehicle that were built to tour and raise money for the real thing to be built and run at Bonneville... it never came about though. 30 years in storage and now it bounces around at auctions.

You probably already knew the Blastolene brothers put in an engine from a M47 patton tank, but I just read in the Nov. 2009 Mens Journal that it's first public debut was as a hidden driveable vehicle in Gran Turismo 4

What a nice guy! He was chatting with everyone about his designs and vehicles he's made, showing sketches and collaborations with the other Blastolene Brothers
